A simple monthly lottery that supports your Herefordshire Samaritans branch,
based at 44a Berrington Street - hence the name!

We draw 3 winners
At the end of each month, three tickets win cash prizes.
50% goes to charity
Half of all ticket sales directly funds local Samaritans services.
50% is prize money
The other half is split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Why did we start The 44 Club?
Herefordshire Samaritans has been supporting people in crisis for decades. But like many local charities, we rely on the generosity of donors.
The 44 Club was created to provide sustainable, predictable funding to keep our branch open - while giving our supporters something back in return.
It's a win-win: you get the chance to win cash prizes, and we get the resources to be there for people when they need us most.

Frequently asked questions
Draws take place on the last day of every month at midnight. All tickets purchased before then are automatically entered into that month's draw. You don't need to do anything - we handle it all for you.
Everyone who had a ticket in the draw receives an email with the results. If you've won, you'll also get a personal congratulations email with details about claiming your prize. Results are published on our website too, so you can check any time.
We use a certified random number generator to select three winning ticket numbers. The process is completely automated and fair - every single ticket has an equal chance of winning, regardless of when it was purchased or how many tickets you have.
Absolutely! You can subscribe with as many tickets as you like, or buy multiple one-off tickets for specific draws. Each ticket you buy is a separate entry, so more tickets mean more chances to win.
Our charity treasurer will contact winners directly to arrange payment. Prizes are paid by bank transfer, usually within 7 days of the draw. There's no complicated claims process - we reach out to you!
Yes, you can cancel any time from your account page - no phone calls or forms needed. Your existing tickets remain valid for any draws you've already been entered into. We don't believe in making it hard to leave.
Yes! The 44 Club is operated as a Small Society Lottery by Herefordshire Samaritans, a registered charity. We comply with all Gambling Commission regulations for society lotteries. Our registration details are available on request.
50% of all ticket sales goes directly into Herefordshire Samaritans' general fund. This money supports our listening services, volunteer training, outreach programmes, and running costs. Every ticket genuinely makes a difference.
